Strategic Partner
Affiliates of Transwestern Investment Company (“Transwestern”) (the “Strategic Partner”) have historically committed significant capital to ECM’s Funds. Transwestern has sponsored and invested in numerous private real estate funds, operating companies, and partnerships since its inception in 1996. Transwestern has made over 425 property investments totaling in excess of $8.6 billion through a series of institutional real estate funds. As of June 1, 2007, 310 of these investments have been sold for an aggregate sales price of $5.7 billion. Transwestern maintains extensive relationships with insurance companies, pension funds, foreign institutions, private equity firms, banks, real estate brokerage firms, REITs, investment banks, and real estate principals throughout the United States. These relationships, in conjunction with the Managing Principals’ experience and relationships are expected to generate numerous net lease investment opportunities.
